Job description
Serve as the primary customer liaison, responding to operational questions and resolving issues Support and maintain video NVR systems Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and communication issues Participate in client meetings and change control processes, including presenting updates and proposals Perform hardware and software upgrades across environments (Linux, Windows, and COTS tools) Provide on-call support during off-hours as needed Train operations staff on systems, tools, and processes Identify areas for improvement and recommend solution-based enhancements, including technical standards and upgrades Monitor performance of containerized applications and systems Collaborate with Software Engineering and QA teams to test and implement applications and products Document system architecture, configurations, procedures, and changes Manage system backups, recovery processes, and infrastructure performance Support and maintain networks, servers, workstations, and related infrastructure Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors to ensure system stability and performance
Requirements
Strong troubleshooting capabilities Ability to independently manage workload and prioritize tasks Excellent communication skills Experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications Customer-service oriented mindset
Preferred (Not Required) Video streaming / video protocol experience (RTSP, WebRTC, ONVIF, etc.), Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) industry experience 3+ years of relevant hands-on experience Experience with server operating systems, networking environments, and infrastructure support Familiarity with cross-functional collaboration in technical environments Experience supporting 24/7/365 systems Exposure to software development lifecycle processes, including change control and configuration management Experience with remote access tools, databases, and reporting tools is a plus Strong attention to detail, documentation, and training capabilities
Benefits & conditions
Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 per year, Competitive Compensation: Salary up to $110K with the opportunity to work on meaningful, long-term projects
