Job description
The Contract Specialist III will support procurement and contract administration activities for the IT Software team. This role is responsible for solicitation, negotiation, award, and post-award administration of Information Technology Software contracts., * Negotiating and executing various IT software agreements including Masters, SOWs, NDAs, and POCs
- Managing post-execution contract administration
- Resolving invoice-related issues
- Conducting RFPs using the company-approved sourcing tool
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to streamline contracting processes
- Managing assigned software contract portfolios efficiently with strong stakeholder engagement
- Mitigating procurement risks while reducing total cost of ownership
- Maintaining contract documentation in accordance with retention policies
- Supporting periodic audit activities
- Collaborating with Legal to ensure compliance with P66 requirements and legal statutes
Requirements
Do you have experience in Procurement contract negotiation?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 10 years of experience negotiating IT Software contracts including Masters, SOWs, NDAs, and POCs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Procurement experience in the energy industry
- Proficiency in SAP and Icertis
- Advanced understanding of IT software buying channels including OEMs and resellers
- Strong analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven negotiation skills with the ability to influence critical business decisions
