DevOps Engineer Senior-ThousandEyes

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunication, Math) and minimum of four years working with operating system hardware and/or software components in designing and scripting infrastructure solutions.
• In lieu of degree, minimum of six years related experience working with operating system hardware and/or software components in designing and scripting infrastructure solutions.

Preferred skills

• Experience deploying, administering, and supporting Cisco ThousandEyes Enterprise Agents and SaaS platform components, including configuration, upgrades, troubleshooting, user administration, and operational support. Experience with Splunk Cloud, Splunk Observability, or similar observability platforms preferred.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, routing, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and hybrid cloud connectivity across on-premises, cloud, WAN, internet, and SaaS environments.
• Experience supporting Linux-based Enterprise Agents, virtual appliances, and cloud infrastructure, with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, Ansible, Python, PowerShell, or similar tools.
• Experience integrating ThousandEyes with observability, ITSM, identity management, API, and CI/CD platforms to improve automation, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Proven ability to develop technical documentation, runbooks, standards, and governance practices that enhance the security, maintainability, and long-term supportability of ThousandEyes and related observability platforms., Sponsorship for work authorization for foreign national candidates is not available for this position.
