Job description
We’re looking for a hands-on MES Project Manager to lead the delivery of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) initiatives across manufacturing sites. You’ll manage full project lifecycle delivery while working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and system integrators to ensure successful implementation, adoption, and stabilisation., * Lead end-to-end MES project delivery (planning, design, build, test, go-live, hypercare)
- Manage timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder expectations
- Act as the bridge between manufacturing/business teams and IT
- Drive workshops to define processes, requirements, and solution design
- Oversee system integrators and third-party vendors
- Ensure alignment with ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA and shopfloor systems
- Coordinate testing phases (SIT, UAT) and support issue resolution
- Drive user adoption, training, and change management
- Ensure governance, documentation, and reporting standards are met
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering MES projects (e.g. SAP ME, Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk)
- Strong project management background (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
- Experience integrating MES with ERP and shopfloor systems
- Ability to work closely with business stakeholders in manufacturing environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
