Lead Engineer (React) - Hybrid - W2 only

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer with deep expertise in front-end development and UI architecture to own and drive a critical user-facing platform used by millions of users. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who combines technical excellence, product thinking, and team leadership to deliver high-quality, scalable user experiences.

You will play a key role in shaping the frontend strategy, architecture, and performance of a core product, while mentoring engineers and partnering closely with product, design, and backend teams., * Lead the design, development, and scaling of high-performance, user-facing applications supporting millions of users

• Own the front-end architecture, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance optimization
• Drive UI/UX best practices, working closely with design teams to deliver intuitive, responsive interfaces
• Write clean, production-quality code while remaining hands-on in development
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and code reviews
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Backend) to deliver impactful features
• Identify and drive technical initiatives to improve performance, reliability, and developer experience
• Establish and enforce frontend standards, frameworks, and best practices
• Manage priorities and deliverables in a fast-paced, high-impact environment

Do you have experience in Web applications?, * 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on front-end development

• Proven experience building and scaling applications used by millions of users
• Deep expertise in modern front-end technologies such as:
• React
• HTML5, CSS3, responsive design

Strong understanding of:

• Frontend architecture and design patterns
• Performance optimization and scalability
• API integration and full-stack collaboration
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers in a technical leadership capacity
• Ability to drive initiatives and influence technical direction across teams
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, * A hands-on leader who still enjoys coding
