Senior Software Engineer

• Design, develop, and maintain distributed systems that power Azure AI services in Disconnected environments

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across multiple services and layers of infrastructure.

• Collaborate with partner teams to ensure seamless delivery and integration of AI capabilities.

• Support and enhance existing AI services by improving reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response to ensure high availability of services.

• Contribute to engineering best practices and advocate for operational excellence.

• Write clear, maintainable code and documentation to support long-term sustainability of systems.

• Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and operational excellence.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer who thrives in building complex distributed systems and is passionate about driving technical excellence across teams. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI and cloud technologies, troubleshoot complex systems, and shape the reliability of AI services that support critical MSC operations., Required/Minimum Qualifications (RQs/MQs):

• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals and distributed systems design.

• Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure).

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., C#, Python, TypeScript).

• Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, AKS).

• Familiarity with observability tools and techniques for diagnosing system behavior.

• Passion for building reliable, scalable, and maintainable systems.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional teams.

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across United Kingdom is £ 74,700.00 - £ 122,600.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
