Job description
We are looking for a Matchday IT Support Assistant on a casual basis to provide responsive first-line support. In this position, you will ensure hardware, software and network issues are resolved efficiently while helping to set up, configure and install new equipment to required standards.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of our IT operations by maintaining accurate asset records, supporting equipment audits and assisting with operational needs, including occasional out-of-hours activity. We therefore require successful candidates to complete a DBS check and other essential background checks prior to starting their employment. Depending on the responsibilities of the role, a DBS will be either a basic, standard, or enhanced check., * Provide essential technical support - you will deliver responsive first-line assistance and proactively troubleshooting and resolving issues related to hardware, software and network connectivity
- Set up and configure new equipment - you’ll ensure all new computers, workstations and associated cabling are installed, configured and deployed to required standards
- Assist with asset auditing and maintenance - you will support the ongoing auditing, tracking and upkeep of user equipment and stock, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
- Support out-of-hours operational needs - you’ll provide additional assistance for ad hoc events, hardware rollouts and desk moves, including out-of-hours support when required
- Maintain matchday IPTV and digital signage - you’ll carry out screen checks, validate content displays, report issues and provide first-line troubleshooting to ensure a seamless matchday experience
