Job description
Responsible for managing and supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure, including Microsoft 365 environments, network systems, security protocols, and on-premises/server-based solutions. Provides end-to-end technical support, implements security best practices, and leads infrastructure improvements to enhance system performance, reliability, and data protection., * Develop and execute comprehensive IT strategies aligned with organizational goals, emphasizing IT governance and best practices.
- Implement ITIL-based service management processes to improve service delivery and incident resolution efficiency.
- Coordinate project management efforts for IT initiatives utilizing Agile methodologies to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget., * Administer, troubleshoot, and deploy Trimble construction software platforms
- Manage user permissions, software licenses, and access controls for office and field personnel
- ntegrate Trimble’s construction management software (such as Viewpoint/Trimble Construction One) with financial, HR, and ERP systems
- Provide tier-2/3 technical support and end-user training on Trimble hardware and mobile applications.
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Entra ID, OneDrive, SharePoint) including user provisioning, email security, and policy management
- Troubleshoot complex IT issues including email delivery failures, mailbox storage limits, and account security incidents
- Implement and maintain email security measures (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, anti-phishing policies) to reduce spam and spoofing attacks
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure including UniFi systems, routers, switches, and wireless access points across multiple locations
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot surveillance systems (Hikvision/Dahua) and remote access solutions
- Oversee Synology NAS environments, including storage management, data migration, backup strategies, and secure client file access
- Build and maintain secure client file-sharing platforms, enabling controlled access to project data and media
- Monitor system performance and resolve hardware/software issues across desktops, mobile devices, and specialized field equipment
- Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures aligned with industry standards (e.g., ISNetworld compliance, backup SOPs, SDLC practices)
- Provide technical support and training to end users, ensuring minimal downtime and improved productivity
- Assist with IT security incident response, including account compromise remediation and access control enforcement
- Know how to use Hexnode MDM and apply policies for iPad/iPhone set up.
Requirements

- Proven management experience leading IT teams in a fast-paced environment with strong supervisory skills.
- Extensive knowledge of computer networking concepts including DHCP, DNS, LAN/WAN architecture, VPNs, and network engineering principles.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure for infrastructure deployment and management.
- Strong background in systems engineering with expertise in Windows Server environments (Active Directory), Microsoft SQL Server databases, and virtualization technologies like VMware vSphere.
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL; experience using tools like SolarWinds for network monitoring and ServiceNow for ticketing is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining excellent organizational skills., * Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. 3-5 years of progressive IT experience, ideally within the heavy civil or commercial construction sectors.
- Product Expertise: Hands-on experience deploying, configuring, and supporting Trimble construction technologies.
- Communication Skills: Ability to translate complex IT terminology into actionable, user-friendly concepts for project managers, superintendents, and heavy equipment operators.
- Project Management: Track record of managing multiple concurrent IT/construction projects on time and within budget.
