Job description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Associate to join our dynamic technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential technical support, troubleshooting software and hardware issues, and maintaining the overall health of our IT infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure seamless computer management, network operations, and user support across various operating systems and devices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the efficiency and security of our technological systems., * Deliver exceptional help desk support by resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity for end-users.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve software problems across multiple platforms including Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
  • Manage computer hardware assets, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Support computer networking tasks such as configuring TCP/IP settings, DNS management, VPN setup, firewall configuration, and LAN/WAN troubleshooting.
  • Administer Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPO), Microsoft Windows Server environments, and SCCM for efficient system management.
  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure components like switches (Meraki), routers, firewalls (Firewall), and network devices to ensure optimal performance.
  • Utilize IT service management tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy, and Help Desk systems to track incidents and streamline support workflows.
  • Assist with network administration tasks including DNS management, TCP/IP configurations, LAN setup, and network security measures.
  • Support remote access solutions such as VPNs and mobile device management to facilitate flexible working arrangements.
  • Collaborate with team members on projects involving operating system deployment (Windows & macOS), server management (Windows Server & Linux), and infrastructure upgrades.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Teamwork?, * Strong technical support skills with a focus on troubleshooting hardware and software issues efficiently.

  • Extensive knowledge of computer management including hardware installation, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications for daily productivity tasks.
  • Solid understanding of computer networking concepts such as TCP/IP protocols, DNS management, LAN/WAN architecture, VPNs, firewalls (Firewall), and network security best practices.
  • Experience with operating systems including Windows (Windows Server), macOS, and Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with enterprise tools like SCCM for system deployment and updates; Active Directory for user account management; GPO for policy enforcement; ServiceNow or Jira for ticketing; BMC Remedy for incident tracking.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical issues quickly using strong analysis skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to provide clear guidance to users at all levels of technical proficiency.
  • Knowledge of network administration tools such as Meraki switches/routers; DNS configuration; TCP/IP troubleshooting; LAN/WAN setup.
