IT Field Engineer

This role will involve travelling to multiple customer sites to provide onsite IT support, carrying out hardware deployments, installations, break-fix activities, and resolving 1st line technical issues. You will also manage and escalate support tickets where required and work closely with external clients, so excellent communication skills and a customer-first approach are essential.

The successful Field Engineer will have solid previous experience in IT Support within a Microsoft environment and will be committed to delivering excellent customer service. You must be comfortable travelling between sites and have previous experience working in a Field Engineer or mobile IT support role., * Previous experience working as a Field Engineer or in a mobile IT support role

• Strong IT support experience within a Windows / Microsoft environment, including:
• SharePoint
• Windows 10/11
• Office 365
• Active Directory
• Azure
• Experience with IT hardware deployments, rollouts, installations, and device refresh projects
• Comfortable travelling to multiple customer sites on a daily basis
• Providing face-to-face IT support to end users
• Diagnosing and resolving desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral issues
• Triaging support tickets and escalating to relevant teams where necessary
• Experience using an ITSM/ticketing system
• Supporting AV equipment, meeting room setups, and conferencing technology
• Supporting break-fix issues across end-user devices
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence (preferred) or willingness to travel extensively between customer sites
