Job description

  • Provide guidance and advice on all critical subject areas within patient administration areas of responsibility.
  • Develop solutions to complex health information management support issues and presents final actions or recommendations.
  • Advise and consult hospital staff on patient administration issues, to include patient policies, eligibility, patient management, accountability, patient disposition, special category patients, and special circumstance patients.
  • Ensure proper execution within the boundaries of policies and programs.
  • Review performance evaluations made by subordinate supervisors on their employees.
  • Take appropriate action to ensure the military treatment facility (MTF) complies and implements administrative activities through various committee actions.
  • Review publications, regulations, bulletins, and other media of an informative, directive, or regulatory nature to ensure current procedural requirements and application of benefits are disseminated., * Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
