Job description
Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their ServiceNow Developer (Catalog & Flow Designer) position! This is a 12 month contract with potential to extend and/or convert and will be hybrid in Buffalo, NY. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Design and build complex ServiceNow catalog items to enhance cloud tooling capabilities, adding visibility and streamlining workflows for infrastructure teams
- Develop and maintain advanced Flow Designer workflows that automate task assignment, orchestrate multi-step processes, and integrate with various ServiceNow modules
- Collaborate with the cyber security team to implement SecOps suite capabilities including SIR (Security Incident Response) and VR (Vulnerability Response) modules
- Lead technical components of program-level projects, working as part of a team delivering enterprise-wide capabilities and enhancements
- Complete comprehensive systems analysis, design, and development activities ranging from basic to highly complex technical requirements
- Coordinate with applications and business units to recommend and implement systems solutions that drive project milestones and meet strategic objectives
- Prepare detailed technical and functional specifications, maintain systems documentation, and execute thorough test plans including debugging activities
- Provide analytical consulting and leadership in identifying new uses of information technologies to improve business processes and effectiveness
Requirements
- 5+ years of systems analysis and application development experience with strong expertise in ServiceNow platform development
- Deep hands-on experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer, building complex backend automation workflows for catalog requests and task orchestration
- Proven expertise in ServiceNow Catalog development, including creating and managing service catalog items and workflows
- Experience with or strong interest in ServiceNow SecOps suite modules (SIR, USEM, Vulnerability Response) and cyber security integrations
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on complex technical initiatives while also collaborating effectively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with experience coordinating between technology teams and business stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences
