Job description

GDIT is looking for a ServiceNow Platform Engineer to maintain the development, test, and production ServiceNow environments as well as support ongoing operations and maintenance activities and projects for the USCENTCOM Information Technology Services (CITS) Program supporting the USCENTCOM J6 in Tampa, FL. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT Duties and Responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, LDAP, SSO, and other protocols.ITOM and ITAM Implementation:Configure and support ITOM and ITAM modules, including discovery, service mapping, asset management, and event management.Develop and maintain service catalog items to include states, flows, and UI policies.Monitor systems stability to prevent service degradation or interruption. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential gaps.Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reports to provide visibility into portfolio performance, risks, and opportunities.Support the configuration of workflows, business rules, UI policies, and client scripts.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Participate in Scrum process, testing, debugging, and documentation of ServiceNow modules.Experience with patching and maintaining ServiceNow system solutions in a Linux environment is a plus. Additional Responsibilities:Assist in delivering best practices for Enterprise to include ITIL, and Agile frameworks for delivering IT ServicesConfigure application related fields, forms, views, email notifications, acceptance roles and access controlCustomize the core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Requests, Service Catalog while applying best practices.Support end users to resolve support issues within ServiceNow Desired:ITIL v4 Foundation CertificationSkilled in utilizing best practice ITIL engineering methodsDemonstrated knowledge of incident management, problem management, change management, Knowledge management as
