Job description

  • Provide phone-based customer service and technical support for point of sale and merchant processing systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with POS hardware, software, and integrations
  • Configure and deploy POS terminals, peripherals, and networking hardware
  • Perform on-site technical support and installation services in different venues
  • Set up, maintain, and update restaurant-focused point of sale systems and related software
  • Assist merchants with payment terminal activation, troubleshooting, and end user training
  • Support and refine POS workflows for restaurant and hospitality clients
  • Document customer issues, resolutions, and service activity accurately using a ticketing system
  • Consistently maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent communication and customer service at all times.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Windows?, We are seeking a dependable, tech-savvy, and customer-focused Technical Support Specialist to join our growing team in Palm Beach Gardens. Our clients are within the restaurant and hospitality space, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in restaurant operations, hospitality, bartending, serving, restaurant management, or POS systems who are looking to transition into a long-term career in technical support and customer success.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working directly with customers over the phone and in person. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are a plus. Candidates should be confident installing POS hardware and software, with a focus on configuration, maintenance, and ongoing support. A successful candidate will combine technical experience with effective communication skills to deliver an exceptional customer experience., * Proven customer service or technical support skills.

  • Strong software and hardware troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
  • Comfortable speaking with customers by phone and in person
  • Valid driver’s license required

Preferred Experience

  • POS software configuration and deployment
  • Restaurant management systems and hospitality technology
  • Basic networking knowledge (routers, internet connectivity, device communication)
  • Windows PC setup and troubleshooting
  • Restaurant, hospitality, or restaurant POS experience is strongly preferred
