Network Engineer

The Network Engineer will play a key role in supporting, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise network infrastructure. This position is responsible for ensuring network reliability, performance, and scalability while partnering with cross-functional teams to support critical business operations. The ideal candidate brings hands-on networking experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to infrastructure management and continuous improvement., + Design, implement, maintain, and support enterprise network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, and wireless environments.

• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and related networking equipment.

• Monitor network performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.

• Support disaster recovery planning, testing, maintenance, and related infrastructure initiatives.

• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure secure and reliable network services.

• Assist with cloud networking and hybrid infrastructure connectivity initiatives.

• Perform capacity planning and recommend upgrades to support business growth and operational demands.

• Manage firmware updates, patches, and system upgrades to maintain security and performance standards.

• Work with vendors and technology partners to evaluate and implement network solutions.

• Participate in infrastructure and network-related projects from planning through implementation and support.

• 4+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or network engineering roles.

• Hands-on experience supporting enterprise networking technologies, including routers, switches, and firewalls.

• Experience working within complex or distributed network environments.

• Strong understanding of network architecture, routing protocols, and network design principles.

• Experience supporting network performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

• Familiarity with disaster recovery concepts and business continuity planning.

• Exposure to cloud networking and hybrid infrastructure environments.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)

• Experience with leading enterprise networking platforms and technologies.

• Knowledge of data center and storage networking environments.

• Experience collaborating with cybersecurity or information security teams.

• Relevant industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Network+, or similar.

• Exposure to virtualization platforms and broader infrastructure technologies.
