Job description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer with experience in Mastercam and SOLIDWORKS to create, optimize, and support CNC machining programs for mills, lathes, and CNC routers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and blueprint interpretation, with the ability to produce high-quality parts efficiently and accurately., * Create and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam and SOLIDWORKS.

  • Program and set up CNC mills, lathes, and routers for production.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models.
  • Select appropriate tooling, cutting parameters, and machining strategies.
  • Troubleshoot and improve existing CNC programs to increase productivity and reduce cycle times.
  • Verify program accuracy through simulations and test runs.
  • Work closely with machinists, engineers, and production teams to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with specifications and tolerances.
  • Maintain program documentation and revision records.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in Manufacturing Technology or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of CNC programming experience.
  • Proficiency in Mastercam and SOLIDWORKS.
  • Experience programming CNC mills, lathes, and routers.
  • Strong knowledge of G-code, machining practices, and cutting tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
  • Experience with setup, troubleshooting, and process improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team., * Experience with multi-axis CNC machining.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Experience in precision manufacturing environments.
