Job description

Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Active Directory (AD) and Entra ID (Azure AD) in a large, multi-domain, multi-tenant environment

  • Support hybrid identity environments, ensuring secure authorization and compliance across on-premises and cloud systems
  • Perform user provisioning and de-provisioning across multiple systems
  • Act as an escalation point for complex security and access issues not resolved by IT Service Desk
  • Ensure compliance with corporate security controls, policies, and standards
  • Analyze and resolve user and data access problems; proactively identify and address basic security issues
  • Participate in data clean-up and normalization of Active Directory records
  • Assist with role mining and development activities as needed
  • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management
  • Use ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) and be familiar with identity solutions (e.g., SailPoint, Saviynt) and privileged access management (e.g., CyberArk, BeyondTrust)
  • Apply foundational knowledge of information security policies, standards, and governance controls
  • Monitor, plan, design, and build security architectures and oversee implementation of security for networks and related devices
  • Perform security assessments including penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and risk analysis
  • Detect and mitigate cyber incidents and vulnerabilities; contribute to cyber defense operations
  • Leverage and develop cybersecurity techniques to address evolving cloud, web, and mobile security requirements
  • Contribute to process and documentation improvements based on security needs
  • Work as an entry-level individual contributor under close supervision on smaller, less complex projects
  • Communicate primarily with internal team members and gather/convey information as needed
  • Focus on self-development and may mentor or direct work of lower-level professionals

Requirements

Requires bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of IT experience or equivalent education and experience

  • Strong problem-solving, security awareness, and communication skills are essential
