Software Project Manager

A large Material Handling Company is looking for a Software Project Manager. This person will manage software project delivery of an automated material handling warehouse. They will be responsible for managing everything from budget to scope to timeline to resource and risk management. This person will interacting with the customer and communicating direction to their core delivery team. The delivery team will consist of PM’s, project engineers, controls, and software engineers. Typical delivery timelines range from 1-3 years. This role will require 30-50% travel as it is important for this person to be on site to ensure proper progress is being met on time and on budget. This person must be very driven, highly organized, a strong communicator and a great leader. Given that this person will be overseeing the software portion of the project, a strong understanding of software methodologies is a must and able to host software workshops with customers.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field. 3+ years of software project management experience. Experience managing software implementations from planning through go-live. Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience managing budgets, timelines, resources, and project risks. Strong customer-facing communication and stakeholder management skills. Proficient with Microsoft Project. Highly organized, adaptable, and relationship-driven. Ability to travel 30-50%.

This is a full-time position offering an annual base salary ranges of $85,000 - $140,000 based on experience. Additionally, the role may include a comprehensive benefits package, encompassing healthcare insurance and paid leave, in accordance with applicable laws., Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
