- Predominantly remote (travel no more than 20% of the time)

- Must travel to RHRC-hosted events, or other meetings as needed and upon request., The Business Systems Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the organization’s core business applications to ensure they effectively support finance, HR, PMO, education, operations, and other cross functional teams. This role focuses on aligning systems with business needs, improving usability and adoption, and ensuring systems work well together to support efficient, mission-driven operations. This position will design, implement, and maintain integrations across Microsoft Dynamics CRM and key business platforms, including Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Monday.com, Microsoft Forms, and Qualtrics.
This is a hands-on, functional management role with no direct reports, requiring strong collaboration, business acumen, and technical fluency. It is ideal for someone who enjoys acting as a bridge between departments and technology and can work autonomously.
Business Systems Ownership:
- Serve as the primary owner for core business systems used across the organization
- Ensure systems meet functional needs, are well-configured, and are actively supporting business processes and any compliance or cyber-security requirements
- Act as the central point of coordination between departments and system vendors
- Overall management of IT vendor, including onboarding and offboarding of employees, and serving as in-house IT liaison and point-person for 3rd party IT escalation.
Platform Management & Optimization
- Own and optimize, and integrate platforms including (but not limited to): Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Azure Ecosystem; Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, and REST API development; Azure SQL and data integration; Dynamics 365; LMS 365 and enterprise SaaS tools, Power BI embedding for reporting
- Partner with functional teams to configure systems to support real-world workflows
- Oversee administration of and permissions for multiple platforms (Microsoft Tenants, SharePoint, Dynamics CRM, etc.), role design, and general system administration
Integration & Workflow Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce manual or duplicative work
- Support integration and automation between business systems
- Maintain clear documentation for system usage, processes, and dependencies
Cross Functional Partnership & Enablement
- Work closely with Finance, HR, PMO, Education, and Operations teams to understand evolving needs
- Provide training, guidance, and support to improve system adoption and effectiveness
- Support change management for system updates, implementations, and enhancements

REPORTS TO: Director of Operations
Requirements
Do you have experience in Systems integration?, * 5+ years of experience managing or supporting business systems or enterprise applications in a complex, remote environment.
- Experience working with finance, HR, or operational systems in a nonprofit or service-oriented organization
- Strong experience with Microsoft based environments and SaaS tools, including MS 365, MS Dynamics CRM, Entra ID, and Azure Experience and working knowledge in Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, REST API development, and Azure Functions with ability to independently research and implement API-based and low-code integration solutions (Power Automate or equivalent)
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical system solutions and reliable system workflows
- Ability to explain complex processes in layman’s terms for understanding of both internal and external customers
- Strategic thinker and problem solver, with the ability to execute hands-on
- Be self-directed, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized with proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
- Understanding of matrix organizations and highly effective working cross-functionally across teams and departments
- Strong communications skills and fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to a positive work culture
- Must have reliable internet., * Formal education in change management preferred.
- Familiarity with rural issues and dynamics preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM integrations with key business platforms preferred.
- Demonstrated interest or commitment to improving rural healthcare delivery is preferred.
