Job description

LHH is proactively seeking a detail-oriented and analytical HRIS Analyst to join our client’s team on a contract basis in the Houston area. This role will focus on supporting and maintaining HR systems, with an emphasis on backend configuration, data integrity, reporting, and cross-functional project support., * Maintain and support HRIS systems, including backend updates, configuration changes, and data management within HCM platforms (e.g., Workday, UKG, ADP, SAP).

  • Perform system updates related to employee data, organizational structure, job changes, and process enhancements.
  • Extract, export, and analyze raw HR data from HRIS systems to support reporting needs.
  • Develop and maintain standard and ad hoc reports using Excel and HRIS reporting tools.
  • Partner with HR, payroll, and leadership teams to deliver accurate and actionable workforce data.
  • Ensure data integrity through audits, validations, and troubleshooting discrepancies.
  • Support system integrations, upgrades, and testing efforts as part of HRIS-related projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on reporting needs, dashboards, and data-driven initiatives.
  • Provide support during system implementations, enhancements, or process improvements.
  • Assist in documenting HRIS processes, workflows, and data management procedures.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide end-user support as needed.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working within larger HCM platforms, managing system changes, and leveraging advanced Excel skills to analyze and report on workforce data. This role requires a strong technical foundation, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with HR, IT, and business stakeholders., * High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in HR, Information Systems, Business, or related field preferred. Experience:

  • 3+ years of HRIS or HR data analysis experience.
  • Hands-on experience with backend changes and configuration within larger HCM platforms required.
  • Experience supporting HR systems in mid-to-large organizations preferred. Technical Skills:

  • Advanced Excel skills required (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data cleansing, reporting).
  • Experience exporting and working with raw HRIS data for analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms (Oracle, Workday, UKG, ADP, SAP, or similar).
  • Experience with reporting tools and dashboards is a plus. Analytical Skills:

  • Strong ability to interpret large data sets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights. Communication:

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with HR, IT, finance, and leadership teams on data and system needs. Organization & Detail:

  • High level of accuracy in data management, reporting, and system updates. Problem-Solving:

  • Ability to troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and support resolutions. Project Support:

  • Experience supporting cross-functional projects, system implementations, or process improvements.
