Job description

We are seeking a Data Engineer / Data Warehouse Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions that support enterprise reporting, analytics, and business operations. This role is responsible for building and optimizing data pipelines, integrating data from multiple sources, and ensuring the availability, accuracy, and performance of critical business data.

The Data Engineer / Data Warehouse Developer will work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to develop data models, automate data processes, and support data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining ETL/ELT workflows, designing data warehouse solutions, optimizing SQL queries, troubleshooting data-related issues, and supporting cloud-based data platforms.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a strong combination of database development, data integration, and programming experience with a passion for transforming complex data into actionable business insights. This individual must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple priorities and projects., * Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future must be eligible to work in the U.S.

  • Third-party candidates, C2C arrangements, and subcontractors will not be considered

3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehouse Development, ETL Development, or a related role

  • Strong SQL development skills including query optimization, stored procedures, views, and performance tuning

  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines

  • Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL

  • Experience with Python for data processing, automation, and integration tasks

  • Experience with data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data architecture best practices

  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Synapse, Databricks, or similar technologies

  • Experience integrating data from ERP, CRM, API, and other enterprise systems

  • Knowledge of data governance, data quality, security, and compliance standards

  • Experience supporting reporting and analytics platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or SSRS

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar technologies
