Sr. Data Center Engineer

This role involves deploying server and network technology within data centers, requiring hands-on experience with physical data center operations. The successful candidate will operate within strict change and security controls, collaborating closely with engineering teams, vendors, and remote hands to ensure the integrity and security of critical banking infrastructure., * Deploy server and network technology within data centers

• Understand data center power and equipment connectivity
• Perform physical data center operations such as rack-and-stack, structured copper and fiber cabling installation, hardware break-fix, and asset management
• Operate within formal change, incident, and access management processes
• Collaborate with engineering teams, vendors, and remote hands
• Use standard tooling such as ServiceNow, Jira, CMDB, and DCIM systems
• Maintain documentation, communicate effectively, and ensure work aligns with team standards
• Support the design, build, operation, and continuity of physical data center environments
• Ensure physical security, power, and cooling controls are maintained
• Adhere to safety protocols and operational discipline

• Direct experience with physical data center operations (rack-and-stack, structured copper and fiber cabling, hardware break-fix, and asset management)
• Solid understanding of power, cooling, and physical security controls
• Experience with data center infrastructure management tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, CMDB, and DCIM systems
• Ability to operate within formal change, incident, and access management processes
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Administrative experience is a plus
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
