Job description
We are seeking a Salesforce DevOps Consultant to support a critical Salesforce security hardening initiative while helping modernize the organization’s Salesforce deployment and release management processes. This individual will partner closely with the Salesforce team to implement DevOps best practices, enhance security controls, and establish a scalable CI/CD framework using Salesforce DevOps Center, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
The initial focus will be on Salesforce SaaS security hardening and governance efforts. Over time, the consultant will transition into supporting ongoing Salesforce enhancements, release management, and infrastructure-as-code initiatives., Salesforce DevOps & CI/CD

Implement and enhance Salesforce deployment pipelines using Salesforce DevOps Center.

Integrate Salesforce development practices with GitHub and GitHub Actions.

Establish and maintain CI/CD processes for Salesforce metadata deployments.

Help transition the Salesforce platform toward an Infrastructure-as-Code operating model.

Improve release management, deployment automation, source control, and environment governance.

Align Salesforce deployment processes with enterprise DevOps standards and corporate GitHub patterns.
Salesforce Security Hardening
-
Support ongoing Salesforce security and compliance initiatives.

Review and remediate security vulnerabilities identified through audits and security assessments.

Implement least-privilege access principles across Salesforce.

Evaluate and optimize, * Assist with Security Health Check recommendations and overall Salesforce security posture improvements.
Requirements
-
5+ years of Salesforce experience with a combination of administration, development, and DevOps responsibilities.

Hands-on experience with Salesforce DevOps Center.

Experience implementing or supporting CI/CD processes for Salesforce.

Strong experience with:
o GitHub
o Git branching strategies
o Pull Requests
o GitHub Actions
o Source-driven development
- Salesforce Security experience, including:
o Permission Sets
o Profiles
o Field-Level Security
o Sharing and access controls

Experience supporting Salesforce deployments across multiple environments.

Working knowledge of Apex development and troubleshooting.

Experience with declarative Salesforce tools, including Flows and Lightning App Builder. __________________

Infrastructure as Code Methodologies, The ideal candidate is a Salesforce professional who combines DevOps expertise, security-minded administration, and hands-on Salesforce development experience. They have successfully implemented Salesforce deployment pipelines, understand GitHub-based release management, and can help drive the organization’s vision of managing Salesforce through modern DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code practices while supporting ongoing platform enhancements. * Experience with Copado, Gearset, or other Salesforce DevOps platforms.

Salesforce Administrator certification.

Experience designing enterprise deployment pipelines and release strategies.

Familiarity with security compliance and SaaS platform hardening initiatives.
