Job description

  • Provide hands-on support by installing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining client management and asset systems.
  • Support local server hardware, operating systems, network infrastructure, and telephony through troubleshooting incidents via phone or virtual communication.
  • Create documentation on new issues resolved, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting steps prior to closing or escalating service requests.
  • Assist in the implementation of business systems and manufacturing initiatives, delivering configurations and end-user desktop support.
  • Participate in service desk call/ticket queue management and perform system upgrades, including assisting end users with migration to new applications.

Requirements

Our client, a leading organization in the technology services sector, is seeking a Systems Support Specialist I to join their team. As a Systems Support Specialist I, you will be part of the IT Department supporting the Service Desk team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization., * Minimum of 6 months of experience troubleshooting PCs, printers, and phone issues.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Windows, Office, Outlook, and M365.
  • Solid understanding of networking, wireless, and telecommunication fundamentals.
  • Understanding of mobile technology and MDM related to smartphones and tablets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities, with a willingness to contribute to a team environment.
