Mid-Level, Network Engineer (Direct Hire, Hybrid)

• The Network Engineer will be part of a team responsible for maintaining a complex infrastructure.
• This position will provide an exciting mix of implementing new technologies in addition to maintaining the existing infrastructure.
• The ideal candidate has a passion for creative design and out-of-the-box thinking when it comes to solving challenges.
• They can work collaboratively across multiple teams (technical and non-technical) to find the right solution or be willing to expand their understanding to get to the right solution.
• Someone who has run projects where they are given specific requirements and then they design based on those requirements.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Interpret business objectives and translate into technical requirements for network design and implementation.
• Install, configure, deploy, and validate, LAN, WAN, WLAN, and security designs.
• Maintain and operate firewall policies and NAC policies to ensure best practices and proper network segmentation.
• Develop and maintain processes and procedures to drive efficiency for internal business teams.
• Develop and leverage network automation to drive efficiency and standardization.
• Assist Engineers with scope of work definition.
• Create and maintain network documentation.
• Configure and maintain network monitoring tools.
• Performs other duties as assigned. About TEKsystems
