Job description

The IT Services Engineer (1st Shift) provides hands-on technical support for employees across all company locations, with a focus on assisting plant production and business support teams. This senior role helps ensure a smooth IT experience by supporting end-user computing devices, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and assisting with collaboration tools. The IT Services Engineer will lead IT support processes, device management, and workplace technologies while contributing to the efficiency and productivity of the organization and lead tasks for IT Associates., * Assist employees with in-person and remote technical support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

  • Help deploy, configure, and maintain workplace technology, including Windows and macOS devices, printers, and peripherals.
  • Support collaboration and communication tools, including Zoom, Microsoft 365, and Jira Service Management.
  • Assist in managing Active Directory, Endpoint Central, and MDM solutions under supervision.
  • Document IT processes, troubleshooting steps, and end-user support guides.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and track device lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in IT support, workplace services, or a related field (internships or coursework may be considered).
  • Preferred Certifications:
  • CompTIA A+, Security+, or Network+ (preferred but not required)
  • Microsoft Fundamentals certifications (e.g., MS-900, MD-100)

Technical Skills & Knowledge

  • Advanced troubleshooting skills for Windows and macOS environments.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and collaboration tools like Zoom.
  • Expert level understanding of networking and endpoint security best practices.
  • Experience with IT service management platforms such as Jira Service Management is a plus.

  • Ability to explain technical issues in a simple and clear manner.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
