Job description
The Pre-Sales Solutions Architect is a key member of Aptitude 8’s Technical Team, bridging client needs and tailored technical solutions. Working closely with Sales Account Executives, you’ll lead discovery sessions, design HubSpot-based architectures, build proofs of concept, and craft compelling project scopes that drive deal success. This role is ideal for someone with a technical sales background who loves pushing the boundaries of what HubSpot can do and knows how to tell that story to prospects., * Partner with the Sales Team to co-sell deals, showcasing technical expertise and aligning solutions with client needs.
- Conduct discovery sessions with prospects, engaging with VPs and C-suite stakeholders to understand business challenges and objectives.
- Present technical solutions in a clear, compelling manner to technical and non-technical audiences.
Solution Design:
- Architect software solutions for prospects during the pre-sale phase, leveraging deep knowledge of HubSpot and related systems.
- Build demo portals and create proofs of concept that align with prospect requirements.
- Write detailed project scopes for proposals to ensure clarity and feasibility.
Technical Feasibility
- Review technical documentation to assess the feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Collaborate with Consulting and Development Teams as needed to support complex technical components of sales opportunities.
Key Deliverables:
- Tailored technical solutions and architectures that address client challenges.
- Demo portals and proofs of concept that effectively demonstrate the value of proposed solutions.
- Well-scoped user stories and proposals that set clear expectations for implementation.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Technical writing within technology?, * 5+ years of hands-on HubSpot experience, with proficiency across Sales, Marketing, and Service Hubs
- Strong understanding of CRM use cases, integrations, and ecosystem tools
- Experience creating technical documentation including user stories, solution architectures, and project scopes; ability to scope multi-hub or multi-workstream solutions and navigate cross-functional complexity.
- Experience with enterprise-level projects.
- Proven ability to conduct discovery and present business cases to executive stakeholders
- Exceptional communication skills - able to translate technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong problem-solving skills and a creative, consultative approach to solution design
- Ability to quickly build rapport with prospects and clients
- Embrace of responsible AI use to drive efficiency across yourself, your team, and your customers
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for learning and technology
Benefits & conditions
Base salary: $110,000-$125,000 / year depending on experience and technical level. We recognize that candidates bring a variety of backgrounds and skills, and we’re committed to offering competitive and equitable compensation aligned with each individual’s expertise.
