IT Systems Analyst - POS & Infrastructure Support

• Design, install, and manage IT infrastructure, including servers, terminals, printers, and network devices.
• Install and support organizational application systems, including EMV payment devices.
• Maintain and support point-of-sale (POS) systems across retail and distribution environments.
• Independently resolve complex end-user technical issues, escalating only where appropriate.
• Provide regular feedback and status reports to management on system performance, issues, and resolutions.
• Author and maintain clear technical documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Deliver a full range of technical IT support activities across multiple systems and platforms.
• Support multiple concurrent projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure minimal downtime and disruption to business operations.

• Proven experience supporting POS systems and retail IT infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on complex technical assignments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across servers, terminals, printers, and network hardware.
• Experience with EMV payment device installation and support.
• Excellent written communication skills, including experience drafting SOPs and technical documentation.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to communicate with non-technical end users.
• Excellent multi-tasking and time-management skills.
• Ability to provide clear, concise reporting to management.
• Must reside in or near Chicago’s north side or northern suburbs, or be willing to commute locally without relocation assistance., * Experience in a multi-site retail or distribution environment.
• Familiarity with network administration and infrastructure design principles.
• Prior experience in a role supporting both corporate and store-level technology.
