Job description

The Operations Technical Analyst supports intake and merger related processes by serving as a key liaison between business stakeholders, operations teams, and supporting functions to ensure work is accurately captured, prioritized, and routed efficiently. This role is responsible for gathering and clarifying business requests, documenting requirements, identifying process improvement opportunities, and helping to manage change management across operational workflows. The analyst helps ensure incoming requests are evaluated consistently, aligned to business priorities, and supported with clear requirements to enable effective execution and maintaining business continuity. In this role, the Analyst will be instrumental in supporting Operations systems during a significant merger., * Analyze and document technical requirements for the integration of Corporate systems during the merger.

  • Responsible for facilitating the high-level design, dependency mapping, estimation, planning, and orchestration of solutions; including defining high-level epics and user stories.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of technology solutions.
  • Assist in the mapping and migration of data between applications, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues related to merger and technology integration.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize system testing, performance, and reliability throughout SDLC.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of technology integration projects facilitating escalations when needed.
  • Conduct gap analysis on migration applications, capabilities, and workflows to identify delivery scope.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in technical analysis and project support, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of Corporate systems and their role in supporting business operations such as Deposit, Reconciliation, and Customer support.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Systems Experience: Operations: Frontier, FIS Core, FIS Image Center, Salesforce, Verification of Deposit (VOD) Custom Development: Microsoft.NET , Microservices, REST APIs, SQL Server
