Job description

  • Develop and maintain interactive network topology interfaces that allow users to drag, drop, connect, and configure virtual network devices.
  • Build high-performance frontend applications capable of handling large-scale network environments with hundreds of nodes.
  • Implement state management solutions to support real-time simulation data and configuration updates.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to deliver intuitive, modern, and accessible user experiences.
  • Integrate frontend applications with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
  • Develop reusable UI components for networking and infrastructure-focused applications.
  • Utilize visualization technologies such as SVG, Canvas API, and graph visualization libraries to render complex network topologies.
  • Support real-time application functionality through WebSockets and other asynchronous communication methods.
  • Partner with backend engineers to ensure seamless data integration and application performance.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional frontend software development experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
  • Expert-level proficiency with JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend frameworks including React, Vue.js, or Angular.
  • Experience with TypeScript, state management tools (Redux, Pinia, NgRx), and scalable component-based application architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with D3.js, Cytoscape.js, JointJS, SVG, Canvas API, or similar visualization technologies for interactive data or network topology displays.
  • Experience integrating REST APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, Server-Sent Events, and other asynchronous data technologies in real-time applications.
  • Proficiency with testing and performance tools such as Jest, Cypress, Playwright, Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse, Tailwind CSS, and modern frontend development workflows.

  • Salary range: $135,000 - $175,000 annually depending on experience
