Requirements

  • High school diploma, and college experience or relevant certifications preferred.
  • Performs required maintenance on computer systems within the district.
  • Maintains an inventory using a district inventory system of all computers, hardware, and software for tracking and budgeting purposes.
  • Troubleshoot system failures or bugs and provide solutions to restore functionality.
  • Respond to support requests and assist in troubleshooting any problems that arise.
  • Maintain computer network, system and hardware documentation for colleagues to reference.
  • Setting up or repairing computer hardware and other associated devices such as printers, interactive panels, and scanners.
  • Identifying and resolving connectivity issues.
  • Upgrading firmware, software, and outdated hardware systems.
  • Knowledge of the Windows and Chrome operating system
  • Basic knowledge of educational and business software applications to support staff and students:
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Common Internet Browsers
  • E-Mail software (Gmail)
  • Common multimedia software applications and tools
  • Knowledge of basic networking concepts, devices, and security.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work with people.
  • Ability to work independently in solving problems.
  • Transportation is required to perform job functions.
