Integration Design, Development & Support

  • Monitor the overall health of all inbound and outbound integrations to and from Workday.
  • Lead the discovery, design, and development of Workday integrations for implementations, enhancements, and ongoing AMS support.
  • Build and deliver integration solutions using Workday standard tools (e.g., EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, REST/SOAP).
  • Modify, launch, and monitor integration events, schedules, and notifications in Workday.
  • Triage and resolve integration alerts including failures, warnings, and performance issues.
  • Investigate integration failures from a business process, data quality, or technical system perspective.
  • Serve as Level-3 support, handling complex incidents, special projects, and issues requiring deep technical expertise.
  • Ensure integration solutions meet security, compliance, and data governance standards.

End-to-End Workday Implementation & Enhancements

  • Participate in and lead full lifecycle Workday implementations and major phase rollouts, including requirements, design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
  • Support Workday bi-annual releases, including impact analysis, testing, and deployment planning across integrations and modules.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to ensure integrations align with configured Workday business processes.
  • Lead or support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing for integrations and cross-module processes.
  • Write and execute unit and system test cases, manage defect tracking, and drive resolution.

Cross-Module & Business Partnership

  • Act as a solution lead across multiple Workday modules (e.g., HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Benefits, Recruiting, Learning, Financials).
  • Lead business and functional requirement discussions, translating needs into technically sound and scalable Workday solutions.
  • Facilitate design workshops and solution reviews with business stakeholders.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business partners, clearly articulating Workday capabilities, limitations, and best-practice approaches.
  • Proactively identify process improvement opportunities enabled by Workday standard functionality and integrations.
  • Ensure business stakeholders understand end-to-end process impacts across Workday modules and downstream systems.

Architecture, Governance & Delivery Management

  • Own and maintain the Workday integration and solution architecture, ensuring consistency and scalability across modules.
  • Ensure all work follows established governance, change management, and release management processes.
  • Scope, estimate, and deliver technical solutions for requests coming through the helpdesk/ticketing system, prioritized and approved by stakeholders.
  • Manage and oversee the performance, workload, and deliverables of offshore integration resources.
  • Ensure solutions meet business, technical, and operational support requirements.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Workday experience, including full lifecycle implementations and AMS/post-production support.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, REST/SOAP).
  • Experience supporting or implementing multiple Workday modules (HCM required; Payroll, Time Tracking, Benefits, Recruiting, Financials preferred).
  • Proven ability to lead business-facing discussions and translate functional requirements into technical designs.
  • Experience working with offshore/onshore delivery models.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience serving as a Workday Integration or Technical Lead.
  • Experience in global or complex Workday environments.
  • Familiarity with Workday security, data privacy, and compliance considerations.
  • Workday certifications (Integration, HCM, or related modules). “TA01”
