Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK) is a global leader in cancer care, research, and innovation. The Application Analyst I - Epic Healthy Planet/Compass Rose role supports patient coordination and population health initiatives, enabling care teams to proactively manage patient journeys, improve outcomes, and drive operational excellence through advanced Epic applications and workflow optimization., * Design, build, and maintain Epic Healthy Planet/Compass Rose components supporting patient coordination workflows

Configure care coordination tools such as registries, care gaps, outreach workflows, and patient tracking

Support ServiceNow ticket queues, troubleshooting and resolving end-user issues efficiently

Analyze complex population health and care coordination needs, translating them into Epic solutions

Identify system gaps in patient coordination processes and recommend scalable enhancements
-
Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to optimize care management workflows
-
Contribute to integration efforts involving data exchange and interoperability within Epic modules
-
Participate in technical discussions to improve system design and patient engagement strategies

Document workflows, configurations, and system updates to support ongoing optimization and compliance
Requirements
-
Active Epic certification in Healthy Planet, Compass Rose, or another relevant Epic application required
-
Experience supporting patient coordination, care management, or population health workflows

Knowledge of healthcare IT standards and data exchange principles (e.g., HL7) preferred

Understanding of care coordination models, quality measures, and patient engagement strategies

Strong background in business process analysis and system design within healthcare environments
-
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively across cross-functional teams

Ability to manage high-volume work environments with minimal supervision

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity in patient coordination workflows

Proficiency in configuring Epic applications to support population health and care management goals

Effective communication skills to engage clinicians, analysts, and operational stakeholders

Collaborative mindset with the ability to drive alignment across interdisciplinary teams
Benefits & conditions
Pay Range: $92,700.00 - $148,400.00 FSLA Status: Exempt
