Job description
We are seeking an IT ServiceNow Developer to join our team. The IT ServiceNow Developer will provide technical and programming support for our IT Service Management Solution (ServiceNow) while aligning to Service Management best practices. The role will be primarily responsible for researching, planning, coordinating, and delivering application solutions for the ServiceNow platform., * Build and customize ServiceNow - from collecting requirements, writing implementation plans, to coding and execution of those plans
- Use scripting tools to automate routine tasks being done in the ServiceNow platform
- Create Requirements Definitions and Technical Specifications Documentation
- Articulate technical concepts using easily understandable business language
- Load, manipulate and maintain data between ServiceNow and other systems
- Research and deploy new releases and/or enhancements into the ServiceNow environment
- Perform system and integration testing with sample data
- Be responsive to production outages and remedy critical issues as quickly as possible
- Recognize and report issues before they adversely impact firm operations or project schedule

Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a System Administrator/Developer
- 2+ years of experience using scripting/coding languages (i.e. JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Angular JS)
- 2+ years of experience with LDAP/Active Directory and Single Sign On
- 3+ years of experience in IT Service Delivery
- Must have effective written and oral communication skills
- Must be able to manage multiple projects at the same time
- Must be able to act with a sense of urgency and adapt to changing priorities
- Hands-on development/configuration experience with an IT Service Management platform such as Remedy, HP, or ServiceNow is a plus
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
