Job description

The IT Manager oversees the daily operations of the organization’s technology environment, ensuring systems, infrastructure, and support functions operate efficiently and securely. This role is responsible for leading technical teams, managing projects, implementing improvements, and supporting technology strategies that align with business needs., * Manage and support the performance of IT teams including systems, network, and support staff

  • Oversee day to day IT operations including system availability, network reliability, and service delivery
  • Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Plan and coordinate technology projects such as upgrades, migrations, and implementations
  • Monitor system performance, security posture, and infrastructure health
  • Collaborate with leadership and department managers to align IT initiatives with organizational goals
  • Manage vendor relationships, licensing, contracts, and procurement of IT equipment and services
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain documentation related to systems, processes, and project activities

Requirements

  • Five or more years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, or related technical fields
  • Previous experience supervising or leading technical teams
  • Strong understanding of networking, systems, cybersecurity, and infrastructure fundamentals
  • Experience managing projects and coordinating cross functional work
  • Familiarity with budgeting, procurement, and vendor management
  • Excellent communication, decision making, and problem solving skills
  • Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or Microsoft certifications are a plus
