Job description
- Configure, manage and optimise Cisco routing and switching environments.
- Deploy, maintain and troubleshoot Meraki VPN and wider Meraki networking solutions.
- Support and deliver Cisco Umbrella and Zscaler upgrade projects.
- Configure, manage and optimise load balancing solutions across the network estate.
- Manage data centre infrastructure activities, including cabling, hardware lifecycle management and network hardware upgrades.
- Assess network appliance maturity and provide recommendations for improvements and modernisation.
- Support office relocation and network migration activities, ensuring minimal disruption to users and services.
- Implement secure Proxy solutions and support patching strategies across network infrastructure.
- Ensure network environments adhere to organisational security standards and compliance requirements.
- Support Azure networking components within hybrid cloud environments.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, network diagrams and governance records.
Requirements
- CCNP certification or equivalent enterprise networking experience.
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer working within complex enterprise environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies.
- Experience implementing and managing Meraki VPN and Meraki networking solutions.
- Experience with Cisco Umbrella administration and support.
- Demonstrable experience delivering Zscaler upgrades and enhancements.
- Strong knowledge of load balancers, Proxy technologies and network patching practices.
- Experience managing data centre infrastructure and structured cabling environments.
- Knowledge of Azure networking and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Experience supporting network deployments, migrations and infrastructure transformations.
- Strong documentation skills with experience maintaining technical governance standards.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
