Job description

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and driving consultative sales of end-of-line automation systems, robotic palletizing solutions, conveyors, material handling, and intralogistics systems for customers within the food processing and CPG industries., * Continuously develop relationships with existing and prospective customers to identify new business opportunities.

  • Prospect, target, and close opportunities with new customers across the United States.
  • Set up meetings and presentations with prospective clients.
  • Educate customers on the value, benefits, and necessity of Torfresma USA solutions.
  • Deliver engaging and solution-oriented presentations to potential clients.
  • Ask qualifying questions and position solutions that best fit the client’s operational and production needs.
  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of the company’s automation systems, equipment, and capabilities.
  • Prepare commercial proposals and technical solution recommendations based on customer requirements.
  • Negotiate and close sales in an effective and professional manner.
  • Continuously strengthen industry and market knowledge.
  • Cultivate long-term customer relationships and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Travel extensively (50%+ travel required) to customer facilities, industry events, and sales opportunities.
  • Manage sales funnel activities, pipeline analysis, forecasting, and opportunity tracking.
  • Maintain accurate customer and opportunity information within the CRM system.
  • Position the company’s solutions and services competitively within the marketplace.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and ethical business practices.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Corporate sales environment?, This position requires a combination of technical understanding, relationship-building skills, and commercial mindset to identify customer needs and propose engineered solutions that deliver operational value. The ideal candidate is proactive, customer-oriented, technically curious, and comfortable traveling extensively throughout the Midwestern region but not limited., * Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Industrial Technology, related field preferred or proof of experience.

  • 2+ years of experience in industrial B2B sales, preferably within automation, material handling, intralogistics, or food processing industries.
  • Experience with consultative and technical sales processes.
  • Knowledge of meat processing operations is highly preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
  • Familiarity with robotic palletizing and case packing systems, conveyors, and material handling equipment.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with decision-makers at multiple organizational levels.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability and willingness to travel more than 50% domestically.
  • Valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience selling automation systems, conveyors, robotic palletizers, AGVs, or intralogistics solutions.
  • Technical understanding of manufacturing and food processing environments.
  • Ability to interpret customer operational challenges and translate them into engineered solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and solution-selling capabilities.
