Job description

Are you an IT professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and making a direct impact on business operations? Join a growing aerospace manufacturing company where your expertise will support critical technology systems, drive ERP performance, and help keep production running efficiently. We are seeking a hands-on IT & Epicor Support Technician to provide technical support for our IT infrastructure, end users, and Epicor ERP platform. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple departments-including manufacturing, engineering, quality, purchasing, inventory, finance, and shipping-while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in a highly regulated aerospace environment., * Provide first- and second-level support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and network-connected equipment.

  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows-based workstations and hardware.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and security access through Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
  • Monitor and support network infrastructure, including switches, wireless access points, VPNs, and internet connectivity.
  • Perform software installations, updates, and patch management.
  • Support cybersecurity initiatives, including antivirus management, security awareness, and access control compliance.
  • Assist with backup and disaster recovery processes.
  • Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and troubleshooting guides., * Serve as a key resource for Epicor ERP users across multiple business functions.
  • Troubleshoot ERP-related issues and coordinate resolutions with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Assist users with transactions, reports, dashboards, BAQs, and system navigation.
  • Support ERP upgrades, testing, implementations, and enhancement projects.
  • Develop and maintain user documentation and training materials.
  • Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Assist with data integrity, imports, validation, and reporting.
  • Partner with department leaders to implement ERP solutions that improve operational efficiency.

Manufacturing Systems Support

  • Support shop-floor technologies, including barcode scanners, label printers, production terminals, and workstations.
  • Assist with quality, traceability, and compliance-related system requirements.
  • Support integrations between Epicor ERP and manufacturing systems.
  • Help maintain accurate data and system performance to meet aerospace quality standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects that enhance productivity and system effectiveness., * Work in an innovative aerospace manufacturing environment where technology directly supports production success.
  • Gain exposure to both IT infrastructure and ERP systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and operations.
  • Play a key role in process improvements and technology initiatives that drive business performance.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of IT support experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supporting Epicor ERP.
  • Strong working knowledge of:
  • Microsoft Windows operating systems
  • Microsoft 365
  • PC hardware, peripherals, and troubleshooting
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
