Job description

Our client is seeking an Ecommerce Operations Specialist to support their growing online sales and customer experience team. This role is ideal for someone with experience managing ecommerce marketplaces, maintaining product listings, assisting customers, and supporting digital sales operations.

The Ecommerce Operations Specialist will help manage product listings across multiple online marketplaces, coordinate shipping and order fulfillment systems, assist with customer inquiries, and support marketing and CRM initiatives. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with technology, ecommerce platforms, and digital content., * Create, update, and maintain product listings across ecommerce marketplaces including Amazon, Walmart, Lowe’s, Home Depot, Grainger, eBay, Target, Wayfair, and other online channels

  • Manage product content, descriptions, specifications, pricing, and images to ensure accuracy across all platforms
  • Utilize channel management software such as Rithum, SellerActive, or ChannelEngine to maintain marketplace operations
  • Process and coordinate shipments using ShipStation
  • Respond to customer emails and phone calls regarding orders, products, and general inquiries
  • Assist prospective customers with product questions and sales inquiries
  • Capture and edit product photos and videos for ecommerce listings and company websites
  • Upload and organize digital media across ecommerce portals and website platforms
  • Support CRM activities including lead management, customer communications, and email marketing campaigns using platforms such as Mailchimp
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to improve online customer experience and marketplace performance

Requirements

  • Previous ecommerce or online marketplace experience preferred
  • Experience with Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Marketplace, or other ecommerce platforms is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with channel management software such as Rithum, SellerActive, or ChannelEngine preferred
  • Experience using ShipStation or similar shipping software preferred
  • Comfortable using CRM software and email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp
  • Experience taking product photography and videos is a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, * Ecommerce or online marketplace: 1 year (Required)
  • Amazon Seller Central and Walmart Marketplace: 1 year (Required)
  • Rithum, SellerActive, or ChannelEngine: 1 year (Required)
  • ShipStation: 1 year (Required)
  • CRM software: 1 year (Required)
