Job description
Located in the greater Twin Cities region, we are a long-standing global leader building engineered technologies and processing equipment for industries supporting food, fuel, manufacturing, and beyond.
We’re looking for a hands-on Data & BI Manager to lead data strategy, business intelligence, reporting, and analytics initiatives. This role combines leadership with execution and is ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable data solutions, driving data governance, and turning complex data into actionable business insights.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the development and delivery of business intelligence and analytics solutions.
- Partner with business and technology teams to improve data architecture and reporting capabilities.
- Drive data governance, data quality, and reporting standards across the organization.
- Translate business requirements into scalable data and reporting solutions.
- Support predictive analytics and emerging AI-driven business capabilities.
- Promote self-service analytics and data-driven decision-making.
- Manage and develop a high-performing analytics team.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, and IT stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in data, analytics, business intelligence, or related areas.
- Prior experience leading technical or analytics teams.
- Strong background in data modeling, data architecture, and business intelligence.
- Experience supporting financial and operational reporting.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with Python or another programming language.
- Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI.
- Knowledge of data integration, ETL/ELT processes, and enterprise data platforms.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams.
Preferred Experience
- Modern data ecosystem experience (ERP, CRM, cloud data platforms).
- Data governance, master data management, and data lineage experience.
- Exposure to AI, predictive analytics, and advanced reporting solutions.
- Experience working in complex or global organizations.
