About the company

Datanational Corporation (www.Datanational.com), headquartered in Farmington Hills Michigan, has an opening for a United States based RPG Developer who has extensive combined knowledge and work experience with RPG IV, and ILE. Experience with EDI systems would be a plus. We work with ERP systems that interface with TrustedLink EDI (TLI or TLW), Extol, and Gentran EDI for the IBM System i (AS/400).

As a 47 year Technology Services Company, we are looking to add a long-term RPG Developer/Analyst to our team who would like to learn and work with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). Datanational is a well-established ERP Services firm with a stable financial background and a strong and growing client base. Due to the volume of work requested by our existing and new customers, we have a need for additional programming and analysis support.

Datanational is on a steady growth path and desires to add a person who is looking for a long-term home. We offer superior benefits, in addition to a stable work environment. We are looking for hard-working people who are ready to put in the same effort as ourselves in order to share in our success.

Corporate Profile

Datanational Corporation is a cross platform IBM Technology Partner with 60% of our business focused on IBM System i (AS/400). We leverage new technologies into existing implementations to optimize existing infrastructure that already works. We deliver solutions that make money for our customers and provide us with further opportunity to bring value to their implementations. Our customers are growing and expanding their use of the iSeries/400 platform to maintain the lowest total cost of ownership in IT. We Partner with World Class Solution Providers such as IBM, Epicor, OpenText, Precisely and Veeam. Our solutions run day after day, generating real transactions that bring our customers superior value.

Significant opportunities exist to learn new technologies as they are leveraged to existing RPG applications. Our EDI environment is transitioning to more contemporary XML communications that perform the same functions as EDI, except using internet based communication. Our cross platform skills provide us with the opportunity to leverage our knowledge in other platforms to deliver on critical EDI client requirements. It is a big job and requires great people who can get this important work done.
