The Orange Design Team is a North American based and owned drafting community built by kitchen and bath people, for kitchen and bath people. We connect showrooms, builders, manufacturers, and rep firms with vetted, North American-based drafters who know cabinetry inside and out. You bring the skill & experience. We bring the clients, the structure, and a community of drafters. You take on the work you want, when you want it.

We’re not looking for drafters who just “designed before.” We’re looking for drafters who have been in actual kitchens and spaces within homes, hung a cabinet, swept dirt or even snow away from corners to do that layout on the floor for a new home. Drafters who take real pride in a clean, accurate sets of drawings - and reads the spec book before it bites them in the rear.

What you’ll do Get hired to draft kitchen and bath projects - plans, elevations, box counts, and project docs

• • for real companies across the U.S. and Canada
• Work through our Drafter Handoff portal, where every project comes in with consistent, repeatable info so you can get to work fast
• Ask the right questions up front, hit your turnaround windows, and deliver work you’d put your name on Track your time and box counts per project (it’s how you show your speed and accuracy
• • think Moneyball data for drafters)
• Be a thought partner to the companies you work with, not just the person behind the keyboard. We are building community here folks!
