Telecom Construction Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Telecom Construction Manager to lead and oversee complex telecommunications infrastructure projects from inception to completion. This role is vital in ensuring that all construction activities adhere to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage project schedules and budgets, and ensure seamless communication among stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within scope. • Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software.
• Oversee construction schedule coordination, monitor progress regularly, and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays or budget overruns.
• Review construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Manage project budgets by tracking costs using HeavyBid or comparable cost management tools; prepare cost estimates and control expenditures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure construction regulatory compliance by adhering to local codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Supervise construction site activities, conduct regular site inspections for quality assurance, safety compliance, and progress tracking.
• Manage teams in a construction management role by providing clear direction, fostering teamwork, and maintaining high morale on-site.
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore or Bluebeam for documentation, reporting, and collaboration purposes.
• Read and interpret construction plans accurately; manage contracts with vendors and subcontractors to ensure scope adherence.
• Maintain detailed project documentation including daily reports, incident logs, change orders, and progress updates.
• Facilitate effective communication among all project stakeholders through regular meetings and updates to ensure transparency and alignment.

• Proven experience managing complex telecommunications or infrastructure construction projects within a commercial or civil environment.
• Strong knowledge of construction regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices related to telecom infrastructure development.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Bluebeam, ProCore, HeavyBid, Civil 3D or similar tools for design review and project coordination.
• Extensive construction site experience with a focus on civil works related to telecom networks; familiarity with blueprint reading and technical drawings.
• Demonstrated ability in construction estimating, cost management, project scheduling (including construction schedule coordination), and budget oversight.
• Excellent leadership skills with experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment; ability to motivate staff while maintaining strict safety standards.
• Strong organizational skills with effective time management; capable of handling multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Knowledge of contracts management and construction regulatory compliance across various jurisdictions.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, subcontractors, regulatory agencies and internal teams.
