Customer Data Operations Specialist

• Monitor data pipelines to ensure customer records flow correctly between systems, including CRM, PIM, and ERP.
• Perform routine deduplication, standardize formatting, and resolve system sync errors promptly and accurately.
• Maintain customer account mapping across systems - matching a customer’s integrated platform tenant to the correct Webb account, ship-to, bill-to, and pricing profile. Errors here surface directly as incorrect pricing to a live customer.
• Build and maintain cross-reference tables between customer part numbers and Webb SKUs so integrated ordering resolves to the correct item
• Assist with provisioning system access and managing user permissions.
• Administer integration credentials and access tiers - issue, scope, rotate, and revoke customer API credentials in line with Webb’s data integration agreements
• Generate routine reporting on data health and database metrics; maintain and iterate on recurring reports as business needs evolve.
• Produce integration usage reporting - request volumes, order conversion, error rates, and adoption by account - and surface accounts whose usage patterns fall outside expected ranges for account team review.
• Conduct regular quality checks to identify missing, incomplete, or inaccurate customer information. Document findings and follow through on remediation.
• Ensure customer data practices adhere to applicable privacy regulations. Process customer data removal and modification requests accurately and on schedule.
• Monitor integration health day to day: failed API calls, rejected orders, EDI transmission errors, stale or incomplete catalog and pricing feeds. Triage, resolve, or escalate to IT and platform partners
• Support compliance with Webb’s customer data integration agreements, including annual certifications, access reviews, and data deletion and certification steps at offboarding.

• 5 years in data operations, database administration, or a heavily data-driven customer operations role.
• Proficiency with enterprise CRM and ERP systems. Strong working knowledge of Excel, including lookups, pivot tables, and large-file handling.
• Strong attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to spot anomalies, troubleshoot discrepancies, and follow a problem through to resolution.
• Clear written and verbal communication. Comfortable working directly with customers, and equally effective with internal sales, marketing, and operations teams. Able to explain data issues in plain language.
• Experience supporting system integrations - APIs, EDI, or scheduled file transfers - in a customer-facing or operations capacity.
• Familiarity with field service management or contractor business software (ServiceTitan, FieldEdge, Housecall Pro, or similar).
• Experience with product data, item cross-referencing, or catalog management in a distribution environment.
• Comfort with SQL, reporting tools, or data visualization platforms.
• Working knowledge of wholesale distribution operations - pricing structures, branch fulfillment, and customer account hierarchy.
