An exceptional Outstanding secondary school in Brent is seeking to appoint a skilled and detail-oriented Data & MIS Officer to join its operations team from October Half Term 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a high-performing school where accurate data plays a vital role in driving student achievement and supporting strategic decision-making. Working closely with senior leaders, teaching staff and the wider administration team, the successful candidate will ensure the school’s Management Information System is maintained to the highest standard.

The Data & MIS Officer will oversee the school’s data systems, ensuring information is accurate, secure and readily available to support the smooth running of the school.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing and maintaining the school’s Management Information System (MIS)
- Producing attendance, assessment and performance reports for senior leaders
- Supporting data collection, analysis and whole-school reporting
- Completing statutory returns, including the School Census
- Maintaining accurate pupil records and ensuring GDPR compliance
- Supporting staff with MIS queries and reporting requirements
- Identifying opportunities to improve data processes and administrative efficiency

Requirements
The school is looking for a highly organised individual with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Previous experience using school MIS platforms such as Arbor, Bromcom or SIMS would be highly desirable, alongside strong Microsoft Excel skills and meticulous attention to detail. Candidates with data management experience from other sectors who are keen to move into education are also encouraged to apply.
