Data & Management Information Systems (MIS) Officer

This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity, offering an immediate start with the opportunity to secure a permanent position. The successful candidate will take ownership of the school’s Management Information System, ensuring data accuracy, compliance and effective reporting to support school leaders., * Manage and maintain the school’s Management Information System (MIS), ensuring accurate and up-to-date student and staff data.

• Produce reports and analyse data to support Senior Leadership with strategic decision-making.
• Complete statutory returns in line with Department for Education requirements.
• Monitor attendance, assessment and student performance data.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and maintain the integrity and security of all school data.
• Provide support and guidance to staff on the effective use of the school’s MIS.
• Review and improve data processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

Do you have experience in Tableau?, We’re looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience working within a school office or education setting.
• Experience managing a school MIS, ideally Arbor, although experience with Bromcom, SIMS or another school MIS will also be considered.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel and data management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A sound understanding of GDPR and data protection.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships across the school.

• £25.00 per hour
