End-to-End Architect Digital Commerce Transformation

We’re seeking an experienced End-to-End Architect to join a major digital transformation programme for a leading UK organisation. This is an opportunity to define and govern the architecture for a large-scale digital commerce ecosystem, shaping the future of customer experience, cloud platforms, enterprise integrations and modern technology delivery.

Working with senior stakeholders, architects and delivery teams, you’ll ensure solutions are aligned to business strategy, technology standards and long-term transformation goals.

This roe is perfect for someone who has experience of owning e2e architecture for large transformation programs, preferably retail., * Own the end-to-end architecture across multiple transformation workstreams.

• Define current, transition and target-state architectures.
• Lead architecture governance, design reviews and technical decision-making.
• Translate business objectives into scalable, secure and resilient technology solutions.
• Design architecture supporting digital commerce, customer experience and omnichannel capabilities.
• Define API-led, microservices and event-driven integration strategies across enterprise platforms.
• Drive adoption of cloud-native, MACH, headless and composable architecture principles.
• Ensure solutions meet security, compliance and performance standards while supporting long-term scalability.
• Provide architectural leadership across multiple delivery teams, suppliers and technology partners.

• Extensive experience as an Enterprise Architect, End-to-End Architect or Lead Solution Architect.
• Proven delivery of large-scale digital transformation programmes.
• Strong experience within retail, digital commerce or omnichannel environments.
• Expertise designing architecture across complex enterprise ecosystems.
• Experience with Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of API-led integration, microservices, event-driven architecture and cloud-native solutions.
• Experience across digital commerce platforms, OMS, CRM, payments, loyalty, PIM, fulfilment and customer data platforms.
• Understanding of Security-by-Design, GDPR, PCI DSS and Identity & Access Management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
