Business Platform Solution Architect

As the Business Platforms Solution Architect, you’ll provide architectural leadership across a broad portfolio of enterprise applications, ensuring solutions are aligned with business strategy, enterprise architecture standards and long-term technology roadmaps.

You’ll be responsible for designing end-to-end solutions across applications, integrations, data, security and cloud technologies, while providing governance and technical assurance throughout the delivery lifecycle.

This is a highly collaborative role, requiring someone who can translate complex business requirements into practical technology solutions while influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organisation., * Design end-to-end solution architectures for enterprise business platforms.

• Produce high-quality architecture artefacts including Solution Design Documents, integration models, application landscape diagrams and technology roadmaps.
• Lead architectural governance, design reviews and technical assurance activities.
• Define scalable integration strategies, API standards and enterprise data flows.
• Support cloud adoption, SaaS implementations and legacy platform modernisation.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to support digital transformation, process improvement and automation initiatives.
• Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture principles, security standards, governance and regulatory requirements.
• Drive platform simplification, standardisation and technical debt reduction across the enterprise.

You’ll also have exposure to modern integration and cloud technologies including Azure, AWS or GCP, API Management, event-driven architecture and microservices.

We’re looking for an experienced Solution Architect who has successfully delivered enterprise-scale business platform solutions within large and complex organisations., * Significant experience as a Solution Architect, Enterprise Applications Architect or Business Architect.

• Strong experience designing enterprise application and integration architectures.
• Knowledge of business platforms such as Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce or ServiceNow.
• Experience designing cloud-based and SaaS solutions.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration, APIs and data architecture.
• Experience supporting large transformation programmes.
• The ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and senior business stakeholders.
• Experience working across Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery environments.

Experience within highly regulated sectors such as retail, financial services, government, utilities or logistics would be advantageous.
