Ironclad Platform Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Ironclad Platform Administrator to provide internal ownership of the Ironclad Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform throughout implementation and beyond. This individual will work alongside the implementation partner during configuration, testing, training, and deployment while developing the internal expertise needed to support the platform long-term.

This role is critical to ensuring a successful implementation by serving as the internal subject matter expert, validating implementation decisions, documenting platform configuration and governance, and preparing the organization for steady-state operations. Upon successful completion of the implementation, this individual will transition into the Legal, Risk, and Compliance Systems team as the long-term platform administrator., Platform Implementation & Ownership

• Participate in all Ironclad implementation workshops, discovery sessions, design reviews, demonstrations, testing activities, and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Partner closely with Legal, Risk, Compliance, Procurement, and business stakeholders to ensure business requirements are accurately reflected in platform configuration.
• Review and validate implementation partner recommendations, ensuring they align with the organization’’s long-term operational goals.
• Identify potential operational, governance, scalability, security, and support considerations throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Act as the internal advocate for sustainable platform design and maintainability.

Platform Administration

• Administer the Ironclad platform, including:

• User administration
• Roles and permissions
• Workflow configuration
• Contract templates
• Metadata management
• Reporting and dashboards
• System configuration

Support testing activities including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect validation, and production readiness.

Assist with release management and future platform enhancements.

Documentation & Knowledge Management

• Develop and maintain comprehensive platform documentation, including:

• Configuration documentation
• Administration guides
• Standard operating procedures
• Governance documentation
• Support processes
• Change management documentation

Ensure implementation decisions and platform knowledge are thoroughly documented for future support.

Training & Operational Readiness

• Support the creation and refinement of training materials for administrators and end users.
• Participate in training sessions and ensure internal teams gain the knowledge necessary to independently support the platform.
• Serve as the primary internal point of contact during hypercare following production deployment.
• Drive a successful transition from implementation partner support to internal operations.

Continuous Improvement

• Build long-term internal expertise to reduce dependency on external implementation partners.
• Identify opportunities to optimize workflows, reporting, automation, and user experience.
• Partner with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and IT teams to support ongoing platform enhancements and governance initiatives.

• 3+ years of experience administering the Ironclad Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform.
• Hands-on experience participating in one or more Ironclad implementations.
• Strong understanding of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) processes and legal operations.
• Experience configuring workflows, templates, permissions, metadata, and reporting within Ironclad.
• Ability to evaluate implementation recommendations with a focus on long-term operational sustainability.
• Experience developing platform documentation, governance standards, and support procedures.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams., * Experience supporting Legal Operations or Legal Technology platforms.
• Experience working with implementation partners or consulting firms during enterprise software deployments.
• Knowledge of contract management best practices and governance models.
• Familiarity with integrations involving enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft 365, DocuSign, ServiceNow, or ERP systems.
• Experience supporting SaaS platform administration in an enterprise environment.
