Willow Valley Communities - Lancaster, PA Looking to launch or grow your IT career in a role where you can truly make an impact? At Willow Valley Communities (WVC), we’re seeking a customer-focused IT Help Desk Technician who enjoys solving problems, helping others, and working in a collaborative, supportive environment. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for IT support, assisting both Team Members and Residents with their technology needs-from troubleshooting computers to supporting TV, phone, and internet services across our vibrant community., As a Level 1 Help Desk Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping our organization connected and running smoothly:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT support via phone, email, and ticketing system
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving computers, printers, software, and basic networking
  • Perform hardware repairs, replacements, and upgrades (PCs, monitors, peripherals, phones, etc.)
  • Deliver prompt, friendly, and effective customer service to Team Members and Residents
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or vendors as needed
  • Assist with onboarding and training users on basic technology use
  • Support Residents with CampusTV, CampusTel, and CampusNet services, including setup and guidance
  • Help Residents learn and use updated cable box features
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the ticketing system
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for evening and weekend coverage

Requirements

Do you have experience in User training (technical support)?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, We’re looking for someone who is technically capable, approachable, and eager to help:

  • Associate degree in Information Technology or 6+ months of related experience (or equivalent combination)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Basic working knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware and basic software issues
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to learn
